Ember · No. 05
A hinoki perfume
Ember is built around hinoki wood oil, with sage beside it. Bergamot and pepper at the start, cedar underneath, and a little oud and myrrh for shade. Pia Long describes it as an open temple, not a room full of smoke.
It opens brighter than it finishes. It is warm and not sweet, and it suits autumn and winter. It is not an incense perfume.
